There is something for everyone in the upcoming months on Pratt Street from pop-up markets to unforgettable performances. Here are five events you’ll want to add to your fall calendar:
Pratt Street Market
On August 29th, we are kicking off our Pratt Street Market event series that will continue weekly into fall. From 11 AM – 3 PM, the curated Sunday market will be the perfect place to shop for locally grown produce, specialty foods, artisan products, handmade pieces, unique fashion items, and more, all sourced from local farmers, chefs, and makers.
The Pratt Street Market is both kid and dog friendly so bring the whole family to enjoy a day of supporting small businesses and enjoying music from the live DJ in our open-air market. Follow the market on Instagram or Facebook to learn more!
Pride-Themed Silent Disco
September is Pride Month here in Hartford, and we’re kicking things off with a Pride-Themed Silent Disco here on Pratt Street. Join us on Saturday, September 11th, from 8 PM-midnight to enjoy hits by your favorite divas and queens spun by live DJ Sonia Sol.
Tickets for the disco are $20 for walk-ups and $15 for advance tickets which can be purchased on the event website. The website also has more info about event-specific rules and COVID-19 prevention precautions being taken to keep everyone safe.
Drag Brunch on Pratt Street
The Pride Month festivities continue on Sunday, September 12th, for the Pink Eggs & Glam drag brunch! NYC drag stars The Bootsie Lefaris and Sutton Lee Seymour will be putting on an unforgettable show on Pratt Street. As our treat, the show will be free to all.
For those of you looking for a meal with your show, our excellent Pratt Street eateries will have brunch dishes and beverages available for purchase. The free show will begin at noon with showtime at 1 PM – show up early to get the best seats!
Pop-Up Palooza on Pratt
Pratt Street is no stranger to pop-up shops, but we’ve never done it as big as Pop-Up Palooza! Hartford Prints, everyone’s favorite gift shop, has teamed up with the Hartford Chamber of Commerce to host over 25 pop-ups in one event for a day of local shopping that you won’t want to miss.
From baked goods and small-batch brews to handmade art and jewelry, there will be something for everyone here on Saturday, September 18th, 11 AM – 4 PM. Check out the Facebook event to see the complete list of vendors and RSVP yes to a super fun day supporting local small businesses.
KNOW GOOD Nights
Breakfast Lunch & Dinner’s street food, open-air market concept has taken Pratt Street by storm and will be back for three dates this fall! You can enjoy local food vendors, artisanal shopping, and beats by Hartford-based DJs from 6 – 10 PM on August 26th, September 23rd, and October 28th.
Our first KNOW GOOD Night was a huge hit and recapped in a blog post earlier this month. You can also view the IG reel we created about it on our Instagram for a complete feel of the event’s vibes.
