New Business Feature: Gentle Bull

We’re back with more exciting news! Gentle Bull Shop is the latest retailer to become part of our Pratt Street community. We sat down with the owner of Gentle Bull, Gabby Rodrigue, to discuss her plans for the business and what visitors can expect.

Q: Tell us about Gentle Bull!

The Gentle Bull was established in 2019 as a curated space for creatives in Hartford. Our natural light studios have been used for photography, workshops, and pop-up shops. Each studio has been carefully curated with vintage furniture, plants, and goods. People always ask us about the furniture and pieces we feature in our studios. We’re excited to be expanding into a retail location and bringing these pieces and more onto Pratt Street. Everything the Gentle Bull features is one-of-a-kind. We hope to bring a unique shopping experience to Downtown.

Q: What items will you be selling?

We will be selling vintage clothing, home decor, plants, and more. We have exciting collaborations in the works with local vendors and business owners that we can’t wait to share with everyone!

Q: When are you anticipating opening? Are you doing anything special?

We are aiming to be ready for opening in the month of June. We will have a small soft opening for friends and family and will announce an opening date once our renovations are completed.

Q: What is so special about Pratt Street to you?

We love Hartford. The community has been so supportive over the years. Pratt Street is perfect because it’s right in the heart of downtown and there are so many exciting changes happening this year. We are so happy to see the growth in our city while also being a part of it!
