A Restored Pratt Street
Through improved and restored retail storefronts, renovated residential spaces, and curated programming, Pratt St is being rediscovered.
The Pratt Street Winter Village is back! For the second year in a row, Pratt Street will be transformed into an outdoor holiday market. The street will be lined with heated, decorated greenhouses, where CT-based vendors and your favorite Pratt Street businesses will be popping up and selling perfect gifts for everyone on your list. This year’s winter market will take place on December 8th and 15th from 2:00pm–7:00pm, and on December 9th and 16th from 1:00pm–6:00pm.
Holiday Hut Vendors
This year, vendors will be taking over a greenhouse on both Friday and Saturday of each weekend. From permanent jewelry to vintage clothing, and from specialty prints of iconic New England stadiums and sports legends to gifts for your furry friend, you’re guaranteed to find something for everyone. On top of that, Vaughan’s Irish Public House will be selling merch, bottled homemade Irish cream, gift cards, and hot whiskey drinks and Irish coffees to keep you warm while you shop! Incoming Pratt Street business Refuge Tattoos will also be in a greenhouse, offering festive temporary tattoos for the whole family, and coffee, cider, chai, and hot cocoa from The Bop! Live Entertainment
The Pratt Street Winter Village is also playing host to so many different kinds of live entertainment! Each event day, three holiday-themed musical performances will take place, featuring local high school students, a handbell choir, Latin music, and some of your favorite Hartford-based singer-songwriters. On top of that, for the first time, there will be an inflatable curling rink set up on the street, along with two artistic installations perfect for a wintry photo opp, sponsored by The Hartford. Plus, what would a holiday market be without a visit from Santa? Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Jingles, Santa’s Favorite Elf, will all be visiting Pratt Street, ready for photos and giving out goodies to those who are nice!

Visiting the Winter Village wouldn’t be complete without stopping into your favorite Pratt Street businesses! All of our restaurants will be offering food and drink specials, and you know you’ll want to stop by our retail shops for specialty goods for all the special people in your life. If you have someone that’s hard to please on your list, no need to worry! You can buy a gift card at any of our eateries and retail shops so that they can pick out exactly what they like.
