Things are heating up on Pratt Street this summer! From Puppy Hours to pop-ups and live musical performances, there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy. This summer is going to be extra special as we have new retailers joining us for the fun. Grab your friends, family, and four-legged friends because we’re sharing all the events happening on Pratt Street this summer!

Pratturday—All Summer Long

Looking for weekend plans this summer? Meet us on Pratt Street on select Saturdays from 2:00pm–5:00pm for drinks, dancing, and delicious food specials from all of your favorite Pratt Street restaurants like Sorella, Sunberry Café, and Vaughan’s Irish Public House. Puppy Hour—All Summer Long

Dog lovers unite! Whether you have one dog, multiple dogs, or just love to be around dogs, this is the event for you! Every Puppy Hour will be filled with live music, food and drink specials, water and treats, local vendors with goodies for your furry friend, freebies, and more! 2nd Annual Pratt Street Summer Kick-Off Party—June 4th

Last year’s summer kick-off party was such a success that we decided to bring it back! School’s out and we’re celebrating the official start to the summer season. Join us on Pratt Street on June 4th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm for live music by DJ Sonia Sol, food and drink specials from our Pratt Street eateries, family-friendly activities, local vendors, and a fashion show from Morneault’s Stackpole Moore Tryon.

Everyone’s welcome to join for the fun, even your furry friends. 

Global Beatles Day—June 25th

Ever wish you could have attended a Beatles concert? Well now’s your chance! Pratt Street is taking it back to the ‘60s and transforming our cobblestone road into Abbey Road. Get dressed in your grooviest outfit and join us on Saturday, June 25th for a celebration of The Beatles. 

There will be live music from PreFab 4—a Beatles tribute band, food and drink specials, and multiple photo opps of the famous Yellow Submarine and Abbey Road album cover. Learn more about this groovy celebration here. 

ConnectiCon Silent Disco—July 16th

Attending ConnectiCon and don’t want the fun to end? Join us for a Silent Disco Party on Pratt Street on Thursday, July 16th from 8:00pm-11:00pm. Dance the night away with DJ Sonia Sol and enjoy drinks from Vaughan’s Irish Pub, Sunberry Cafe, and Sorella. 

During Silent Disco, you control the vibes. You have the option of tuning into different stations played by the DJ and controlling the volume. Trust us when we say, you won’t want to miss out on this! Learn more about this event here. 

The Tobacco Shop 102nd Anniversary Celebration—July 29th

You read that right, The Tobacco Shop turns 102 this year and we’re celebrating big time! The man of the hour, our beloved Gerry Grate, welcomes you with open arms (and a cigar in hand) to celebrate this momentous occasion. 

Come down to The Tobacco Shop on Friday, July 29th for an evening of live musical performances, whiskey tastings from Capital Spirits, food and drink specials from our Pratt Street eateries and bars, and specialty cigars and samples from The Tobacco Shop. Learn more about this celebration here. 

Karaoke Extravaganza—August 6th

Showcase your vocal skills and best karaoke performance at our Pratturday Karaoke Extravaganza! Join us on August 6th from 7:00pm–9:00pm for karaoke with a live band, food and drink specials from our restaurants and bars, and ice cream from Capital Ice Cream. Bring your family and friends down to Pratt Street for a show they won’t forget. Get ready for karaoke and learn more about this event here. 

Pratt Street Block Party—August 20th

We’re throwing the ultimate block party on Saturday, August 20th from 1:00pm–4:00pm. Grab your friends and family and head over to Pratt Street for a block party like no other. Enjoy dance performances by the Hartford Dance Collective and a performance by Hartford Proud, live music from DJ Benny on the Beat, free ice

cream from Capital Ice Cream, and food and drink specials from Pratt Street eateries and restaurants. 

A block party is not complete without fresh burgers and dogs. We will have an outdoor grilling area as well as outdoor bars from Vaughan’s Irish Public House and Sunberry Café.
