A Restored Pratt Street
Through improved and restored retail storefronts, renovated residential spaces, and curated programming, Pratt St is being rediscovered.
A new restaurant and sports bar is coming to the Pratt Street corridor in downtown Hartford.
New York-based Shelbourne Global Solutions, which owns much of Pratt Street and is working to redevelop it, announced Thursday that Corner Three will open on the corner of Pratt and Trumbull streets.
The two addresses on that corner, 103 Pratt St. and 203 Trumbull St., are in the process of being combined, Shelbourne said, and when finished Corner Three will wrap around both spaces, while also utilizing a refurbished mezzanine space at 103 Pratt.
The sports bar will offer craft cocktails and local beers, along with meals and “small bites.”
“The last two years have been rough for everyone, but we love Hartford and are determined to bring back some of the liveliness that has been lacking in the city since the start of the pandemic,” said Corner Three owner Matthew DaCosta. “There is no better place to start than Pratt Street, which we see as the heart of the city.”
Corner Three is expected to open by fall.
Kevin Kenny, vice president at Lexington Partners LLC, which is working with Shelbourne on the redevelopment of Pratt St., including the addition of new apartments, said DaCosta “brings with him amazing food and drink, but more importantly an atmosphere of pure excitement that’s going to keep foodies and sports fans alike coming back for many years to come.”
